Moms Making Money was founded by Vivian Juter Frankel. Vivian ended the last century as a successful internet marketing consultant, servicing high-level clients such as the Producers Guild of America, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Microsoft. Following the birth of her son, Kellen, and the dot-com bust, Vivian searched for a new career that would allow her to work from home full time and take care of her child. Technology savvy, she thought that would be fairly easy to do. But a year of searching jobs boards and submitting resumes produced nothing but frustration. Certain that their were legions of women just like her who were searching for a new way to network and learn about new career options, Vivian launched Moms Making Money Los Angeles, an experts-laden conference and exposition dedicated to helping mothers establish home-based incomes. Conducted in June, it was by all accounts a smashing success. Vivian then established Moms Making Money as an organization dedicated to the continuing support and education of moms who are trying to establish work at home careers or who already have one. Newly launched, the organization offers its member’s career tips, a newsletter, tele-classes, a forum, and conference tickets.
